Privacy
We do not collect or store any information about you or your computer, neither do we store any information on your computer. For these reasons we do not need to produce a privacy statement. These are only required when collecting and using information about you. In such cases, companies are required to produce a statement stating what information they are collecting and how they are using it. They must also register with the relevant authorities.
When you give us personal information, using either e-mail or one of our online forms, we only forward your information within the organisation to members who need to see it in order to respond to it. Each member that deals with enquires from the website will also be subject to the organisation’s data protection policy.
Where an enquiry is dealt with by a third party there will be a contract ensuring that your personal information is protected. No personal information will be passed onto third parties for commercial purposes. Currently enquiries are only dealt with by internal staff.
Electronic Mail
E-mails sent to the any of our e-mail boxes will only be forwarded within the organisation. If an e-mail needs a response from someone outside the organisation (a third party) a reply will be sent to the person who sent the e-mail providing third party contact details (if known) rather than forwarding e-mail to the third party.
Comments e-mails will be archived so that we can track the number and nature of the comments we receive. For the purposes of managing the website none of the personal information in these e-mails will be used once the initial enquiry has been dealt with.

Some logos from other organisations are used on our website, such as the SSAIB and FSB logos. Where this happens we use the logo according to the guidelines laid down by the organisation who has copyright of the logo.
